One Book Every Month: February Introduction

One of my resolutions for this year is to “try new things to actively discover truth and document them on this blog.” As part of this goal, Hayley and I have decided to start a monthly book club! Each month we will select a new book to discuss.

Rules:

  • First, the book has to be easily read within a month
  • Second, the book needs to have significance for our personal development
  • Third, the book needs to be uplifting or provoke thoughtful reading
  • Fourth, the book needs to be agreed upon
  • Finally, the book should be blogged about/discussed at the end of the month

That being said, the book we’ve chosen for the month of February is The Defining Decade: Why Your Twenties Matter — And How to Make the Most of Them by Meg Jay, PhD. You can find the book on Amazon by clicking here.

I didn’t have the book, and just had it shipped for super cheap!

Fortunately, since it’s still technically January, you have plenty of time to order the book and join us! We thought this book would be awesome for February because it’s all about how to make the most of your current situation. However, if you’re not quite twenty, that’s fine, read with us anyway! In any case, get a jump start on your own personal development journey. If you’re already out of your twenties, join us anyway! I’m sure there are concepts that everyone can apply.

We would love to have more people to collaborate with, and this is a great opportunity to help other bloggers grow and join the community! So, let us know if you’re joining us by commenting on my post, or Hayley’s post. Also, feel free to give us suggestions for next month’s book!

    1. Awesome! We’ll try to post the book earlier next month to give everyone more time to think about it and purchase it. I’ll make sure to tag you in the post as well, since you’re interested 🙂
